You will need an output device to hear an electric guitar properly. You can connect to a traditional guitar amplifier or use modern options like a mini headphone amp, audio interface, or smart amp with Bluetooth modeling for silent practice.
Single-coil pickups produce a bright, crisp, and clear tone with high articulation (popular in Stratocaster or Telecaster styles for funk, blues, and pop). Humbucker pickups use two coils to cancel out ambient hum, producing a thicker, warmer, and heavier output perfect for rock, metal, and high-gain distortion.
