The Cort Core Series Core-OC All Mahogany Acoustic-Electric Guitar combines premium all-solid wood construction, elegant minimalist styling and professional Fishman electronics to deliver a warm, rich and naturally expressive acoustic sound.
Part of the Cort Core Series, the Core-OC is designed around a simple philosophy: focus on the essential features that make an acoustic guitar exceptional. By eliminating unnecessary decorative elements, Cort delivers an instrument that prioritises tone, playability, craftsmanship and acoustic resonance.
Featuring an All Solid Mahogany body, the Core-OC is constructed with a Solid Mahogany top, back and sides. Unlike guitars featuring laminated back and sides, its all-solid construction allows the tonewoods to resonate naturally, producing a warm and responsive acoustic character.
The Solid Mahogany top delivers a smooth, mellow tonal response with a rich midrange presence. Compared with the brighter characteristics commonly associated with spruce, mahogany offers a warmer acoustic voice that works particularly well for fingerstyle playing, blues, folk and singer-songwriter performances.
Complementing the top, the Solid Mahogany back and sides contribute additional warmth and resonance, creating a balanced acoustic tone with a full-bodied midrange character.
The guitar features a comfortable Orchestra Model (OM) Cutaway body shape, providing a compact alternative to traditional dreadnought guitars. Its smaller body dimensions make it particularly suitable for players who prefer a comfortable instrument for extended playing sessions.
The Venetian cutaway provides easier access to the higher frets, allowing guitarists to explore melodic passages, fingerstyle arrangements and expressive acoustic solos.
The OM body design naturally emphasises clarity and upper-midrange definition, making the Core-OC especially suitable for fingerpicking techniques and detailed acoustic performances.
