Cort Gold-Series Gold MC6 Ovangkol Acoustic Guitar W/Padded Bag

Cort Gold-Series Gold MC6 Ovangkol Acoustic Guitar W/Padded Bag

The Cort Gold Series Gold-MC6 Ovangkol Acoustic-Electric Guitar combines premium all-solid tonewoods, advanced acoustic construction and professional Fishman electronics to deliver exceptional tone, resonance and playability.

Part of the prestigious Cort Gold Series, the Gold-MC6 is designed for musicians who appreciate traditional acoustic craftsmanship combined with modern innovations. Featuring a Torrefied Solid Sitka Spruce top and Solid Ovangkol back and sides, this premium acoustic-electric guitar delivers a rich, balanced and expressive sound suitable for both professional performances and everyday playing.

The guitar features a specially treated Torrefied Solid Sitka Spruce top, which undergoes a controlled heating process designed to replicate some of the tonal characteristics associated with naturally aged wood. This treatment helps create a responsive soundboard with a rich, open and mature acoustic character.

Unlike conventional untreated spruce tops, torrefied spruce is designed to provide an aged-wood-inspired tonal response from the beginning, offering excellent clarity, warmth and dynamic sensitivity.

Complementing the torrefied spruce soundboard, the Solid Ovangkol back and sides contribute a balanced tonal character with warm midrange frequencies, clear treble response and a full acoustic presence.

The all-solid construction allows the guitar's tonewoods to resonate naturally, creating a responsive and expressive acoustic voice that can continue to develop with regular playing.

Featuring a Modern Concert body shape, the Gold-MC6 provides a comfortable playing experience while maintaining excellent tonal balance and acoustic projection. Its ergonomic design makes it suitable for fingerstyle guitarists, singer-songwriters and musicians who prefer a manageable body size.
