The Cort KX Series KX500 Baritone Electric Guitar – Natural Black Burst is a high-performance 6-string electric guitar designed for modern metal, progressive rock and players who demand powerful low-tuned tones with exceptional clarity and precision.
Featuring an extended 28.03-inch (712mm) baritone scale length, the KX500 provides improved string tension and definition for lower tunings. This longer scale helps maintain a tight, responsive playing feel while delivering articulate low notes, making it ideal for heavy riffs, technical playing and modern high-gain performances.
The guitar features a lightweight Okoume body with an English Walnut veneer top, combining comfortable handling with a striking natural wood grain appearance. Its Natural Black Burst Matte Open Pore finish enhances the instrument's modern aesthetic.
A premium 5-Ply Roasted Maple and Walnut neck provides excellent stability and durability, while the comfortable D-shaped neck profile supports fast and precise playing. The Macassar Ebony fingerboard, 15.75-inch radius and 24 Jumbo Stainless Steel frets offer smooth playability, excellent durability and effortless string bending.
Equipped with Seymour Duncan Sentient and Nazgul humbuckers, the KX500 delivers exceptional tonal versatility, from clear and articulate clean passages to aggressive, high-output distortion. The Push/Pull Tone control and 3-way pickup selector provide additional flexibility for shaping your sound.
