Cort Limited-Series Modern Black Limited Edition Acoustic Guitar W/Case (Transparent Black)

The Cort Limited Series Modern Black Limited Edition Acoustic-Electric Guitar – Transparent Black combines premium all-solid tonewoods, innovative acoustic engineering and sophisticated modern styling to deliver exceptional sound, comfort and performance.

Inspired by the sleek elegance of the modern jazz era, the Cort Modern Black features a distinctive design that reimagines traditional acoustic guitar construction. With its redesigned concert-style body, dual side sound ports, ergonomic bevel cuts and professional Fishman electronics, this limited-edition instrument offers a unique playing experience for discerning musicians.

At the heart of the Modern Black is a Master Grade Solid European Spruce top, carefully selected for its exceptional tonal clarity, dynamic responsiveness and rich harmonic character.

European Spruce is renowned for producing a clear, bell-like acoustic tone with excellent articulation across a broad frequency range. Its responsive nature makes it particularly suitable for expressive fingerstyle playing, delicate melodic passages and relaxed strumming techniques.

Complementing the premium spruce soundboard, the Solid Mahogany back and sides provide a warm and rich midrange response, balancing the clarity of the spruce top with natural acoustic warmth.

The combination of Master Grade Solid European Spruce and Solid Mahogany creates a premium all-solid acoustic construction designed to deliver rich overtones, natural resonance and exceptional tonal expression.

The guitar features Cort's specially redesigned Modern Concert body shape, inspired by the traditional Grand Concert acoustic guitar. Its carefully modified body curves provide comfortable ergonomics while maintaining impressive acoustic responsiveness.

A soft Venetian cutaway offers improved access to the higher frets, allowing guitarists to perform intricate fingerstyle arrangements, melodic passages and expressive solos with greater freedom.

One of the most distinctive features of the Modern Black is its innovative Dual Side Sound Port design.

Unlike conventional acoustic guitars featuring a central soundhole, the Modern Black incorporates two strategically positioned sound ports along the sides of the body.

This unique design allows players to hear more of the guitar's natural acoustic sound while performing, creating an enhanced monitoring experience.
