The Ibanez AC340CE-OPN Artwood Series Grand Concert Acoustic-Electric Guitar combines traditional acoustic craftsmanship, premium tonewoods and modern electronics to deliver exceptional sound quality, comfortable playability and versatile performance. Designed for guitarists who appreciate natural acoustic tones, the AC340CE offers a balanced combination of warmth, clarity and responsiveness.
Featuring a Cutaway Grand Concert body shape, the AC340CE provides a comfortable playing experience while allowing easier access to the upper frets. Its compact body design and shorter scale make it an excellent choice for fingerstyle players, singer-songwriters and musicians seeking a responsive acoustic guitar.
The guitar features a Solid Okoume top paired with Okoume back and sides, producing a rich, bright and balanced tonal character. The solid top delivers excellent dynamic response, allowing players to achieve expressive sounds whether strumming chords or performing intricate fingerpicking passages.
Finished in Open Natural Pore (OPN), the AC340CE features a lightweight, natural-looking finish that highlights the wood grain while allowing the instrument to respond freely to string vibrations.
The AC/Nyatoh neck provides a comfortable playing feel, while the Ovangkol fingerboard offers a smooth surface for chord transitions, melodic passages and fingerstyle techniques. Its 20 frets and classic white dot inlays provide a familiar playing layout.
A standout feature of the AC340CE is its Thermo Aged Ovangkol bridge, manufactured using a specialized drying process designed to improve the wood's response. Combined with a Thermo Aged bridge plate, this construction helps deliver efficient vibration transfer and a responsive acoustic character.
The guitar also features a Bone nut and compensated Bone saddle, selected for their ability to transfer string vibrations naturally while supporting clear note definition and balanced tonal response.
For amplified performances, the AC340CE comes equipped with a Fishman Sonicore pickup and Ibanez AEQ-SP2 preamp, providing reliable acoustic sound reproduction when connected to an amplifier, PA system or recording equipment.
The Ibanez AEQ-SP2 preamp includes an onboard tuner for convenient tuning adjustments, while the balanced XLR and 6.35mm (1/4-inch) outputs provide flexible connectivity for live performances and studio recording.
Equipped with Chrome Die-Cast tuning machines featuring an 18:1 gear ratio, the AC340CE offers smooth and accurate tuning adjustments. The guitar also features Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, designed for convenient string changes and secure string installation.
Factory-equipped with D'Addario XTAPB1253 strings, the AC340CE delivers a balanced playing response suitable for strumming, fingerstyle and acoustic performances.
Whether you're practising at home, performing on stage or recording acoustic music, the Ibanez AC340CE-OPN Artwood Acoustic-Electric Guitar offers an excellent combination of natural acoustic tone, comfortable playability and modern performance features.

A solid top acoustic guitar is made from a single piece of natural wood (e.g., solid spruce or mahogany), which allows it to resonate freely and deliver a richer, warmer tone that actually improves with age. A laminate top is crafted from layered wood veneers, making it more affordable, durable, and resistant to climate and humidity changes.
