The RG420EX is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2024. It is made in Indonesia as part of the Standard line.

The RG420EX features Meranti body with black flat finish bolted to a one-piece maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dots position markers and black side dots. Components include a pair of Ibanez Quantum humbucking pickups, a Edge-Zero II tremolo bridge, Die-cast tuning machine and black hardware.
