Ibanez SR1320SB-AVL Premium Bass Guitar - Aqua Wave Low Gloss

The Ibanez SR1320SB is a sleek, premium 4-string bass that blends the iconic fast-feeling SR playability with boutique looks and pro-level electronics. Featuring a striking sandblasted Ash top, it's designed to inspire serious players who want a comfortable, lightweight instrument that can handle everything from tight, modern punch to rich, vintage warmth.

Part of the Ibanez Premium series, the SR1320SB is built with select tonewoods, meticulous fretwork and high-spec hardware to deliver a bass that feels stage-ready straight out of the gig bag.

Premium craftsmanship & playability

Ibanez Premium instruments are built with the gigging and recording player in mind, and the SR1320SB is no exception. The Atlas 5-piece Panga Panga and Purpleheart neck is reinforced with KTS titanium rods for rock-solid stability and enhanced sustain, even under changing conditions. Medium frets with Ibanez's Premium fret edge treatment feel exceptionally smooth under the fingers, making fast runs, slides and complex lines feel effortless.

Nordstrand Big Break pickups: expressive, modern tones!

The dual Nordstrand Big Break pickups pack a powerful split-coil design into a soapbar housing, delivering a bold, full-bodied sound with plenty of punch and aggression. They retain the clarity and articulation associated with single-coils, while offering noiseless performance that is ideal for high-gain or studio environments.

Flexible Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ

This gives you precise control over your sound without overcomplicating things. The mid control features different centre frequencies for boost and cut, helping you quickly dial in usable, musical tones. A 3-way mid frequency switch further expands your options, while the EQ bypass switch and passive tone function on the treble pot let you switch to a more traditional, organic voice at the flick of a switch.

Striking aesthetics & resonant tonewoods

The sandblasted Ash top not only looks distinctive, it also highlights the natural grain of the wood for a boutique vibe. Underneath, an African Mahogany body adds warmth and sustain, balancing the Ash's brightness for a versatile tonal foundation. The bound Panga Panga fingerboard with abalone oval inlays completes the premium look, making the SR1320SB as visually inspiring as it is sonically capable.

Features

• Atlas 5-Piece Panga Panga & Purpleheart neck with KTS titanium rods: The multi-piece neck construction and titanium reinforcement rods provide excellent stability, sustain and resistance to warping. This means consistent playability and tuning, even through long tours and seasonal changes.
• Nordstrand Big Break pickups: These powerful split-coil soapbar pickups deliver an aggressive, punchy tone with clear highs and tight lows, while remaining virtually noiseless. They are ideal for modern styles where definition and impact is essential.
• Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ: Shape your sound precisely with dedicated bass, mid and treble controls, plus a 3-way mid frequency switch for extra tonal flexibility. The EQ bypass and passive tone option let you instantly switch to a more traditional, passive character when required.
• MR5S bridge: This allows you to fine-tune the string spacing by plus or minus 1.5 mm, so you can tailor the feel to your playing style. Combined with solid construction, it enhances sustain, intonation and overall playing comfort.
