Ash is an open-grained wood, which makes it a fine choice for clear finishes, such as this Dinky’s eye-grabbing sandblasted look. Jackson crafted the Pro Series Dinky DK Modern Ash HT7 to be a high-performance extended-range electric with maximum clarity, sustain, and sonic power. Its graphite-reinforced bolt-on 3-piece maple/wenge/maple neck boasts a hand-rubbed satin finish for maximum low-drag comfort, while its fast-playing ebony compound-radius fingerboard is the ideal platform for heavy riffing and high-speed soloing. Down low, your fretting hand will value the 12" radius that keeps things nice and comfortable for natural, relaxed chord work. Up top, a 16" radius lays it all out flat for effortless, low-action, lightning-fast runs, and wide string bends without fretting out.

These revolutionary active pickups yield three unique, selectable voices: a vintage PAF, a hot-rodded humbucker, and an overwound single-coil. And unlike most wire-wound pickups, the Fluences deliver these classic tones without noise or inductance issues. With this Dinky’s 5-way blade in pickup positions one (full bridge) or five (full neck), you can use the tone control’s push-pull pot to switch between voices one and two. Positions two, three, and four all feature voice three’s single-coil tone. A number of guitarists here at Sweetwater swear by Fishman Fluence pickups.
