Built with a lightweight solid Okoume body, the MetroExpress Modern Bass provides a comfortable playing experience while maintaining a strong, responsive tonal foundation.
The instrument features a Roasted Maple neck with a comfortable C-shaped profile, offering a smooth playing feel and improved dimensional stability. The roasted wood treatment helps reduce moisture content, contributing to reliable neck performance.

Featuring 24 nickel-silver frets, the MetroExpress Modern Bass provides an extended two-octave playing range on each string, making it ideal for melodic bass lines, solo performances and advanced playing techniques.
The 34-inch (864mm) long-scale design offers familiar bass string tension and a responsive playing feel, while the five-string configuration extends the lower register for modern musical arrangements.
At the heart of the instrument are two Sadowsky passive Soapbar pickups, positioned in a modern pickup arrangement at the neck and bridge. These pickups provide powerful bass response, clear note definition and versatile tonal characteristics.
The MetroExpress Modern Bass is designed to reproduce the renowned Sadowsky tonal character, featuring strong and controlled low frequencies, present yet balanced midrange and smooth, airy treble without excessive harshness.
The instrument is equipped with a Sadowsky bridge featuring a quick string release system, allowing convenient string replacement while maintaining stable string positioning.
With 18mm individual bridge string spacing and 72mm total string spacing, the bass offers a comfortable playing platform suitable for fingerstyle, slap and pick playing techniques.
