Vintage character, modern playability, and clean visual distinction come together in a bass built to feel familiar, sound authentic, and perform effortlessly.
This model features a Natural-finished Swamp Ash body that highlights the wood grain and stands out visually, while offering a traditional J-bass tone with faster attack, stronger upper-mid presence, and greater note separation than Alder.
Featuring a hard Maple neck and fingerboard for a familiar, consistent response, this bass uses a New Gen C-shape neck with a 7.25″ vintage fingerboard radius and 2.0 mm small fretwire to deliver an authentic traditional feel, enhanced by the Edgeless™ feature for added comfort.
The Marcus Vintage-J Revolution pickups with '70s spacing and Marcus Heritage-3 preamp (no mid control) provide an authentic, traditional signal path, with push/pull active-passive switching for streamlined versatility.
