Spector Icon NS-2 Neck-Thru 4-String Electric Bass Guitar, Purple Cherry. The Spector Icon NS-2 Neck-Thru 4-String Electric Bass Guitar combines Spector's legendary bass design with premium craftsmanship, powerful Aguilar electronics and professional playability. Inspired by nearly five decades of Spector innovation, the Icon NS Neck Through Series delivers the signature Spector tone and feel in a modern, performance-ready instrument.
Featuring a highly figured quilted maple top with alder body wings, the NS-2 offers a beautiful appearance alongside balanced resonance, punchy lows and clear tonal definition. Its fully curved body design provides excellent playing comfort, making it suitable for rehearsals, studio recording and live performances.
The standout feature is its neck-through construction, which uses a continuous 3-piece maple neck extending through the body. This design enhances sustain, resonance and tonal consistency while providing a smooth, connected playing feel across the fingerboard.
The Indian rosewood fingerboard features Spector's signature Crown inlays and a 34-inch scale length, offering a comfortable playing experience with classic Spector styling. A polished brass nut further contributes to the instrument's distinctive construction.
Equipped with custom-voiced Aguilar DCB pickups in a Reverse P/J configuration, the NS-2 delivers deep, punchy bass, articulate midrange and crystal-clear highs. The Aguilar OBP-2 active preamp provides flexible tone shaping with dedicated bass and treble cut/boost controls, allowing players to achieve a wide range of sounds.
Premium appointments include a locking die-cast bridge, sealed die-cast tuning machines, signature Spector control knobs and gold hardware for reliable performance and elegant styling.
Finished in a striking Black Stain High Gloss, the Spector Icon NS-2 Neck-Thru is an excellent choice for bassists seeking professional electronics, enhanced sustain and the iconic Spector playing experience
